1. Let\u2019s start with your journey\u2014what first drew you to content creation, and how did that initial interest grow into the platform you\u2019ve built today?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve always been drawn to creativity. In fact, back in 2012, I started my own online handicrafts business called Feathers & Ribbons. That entrepreneurial spirit stayed with me as I got older.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I actually opened my public Instagram account on a whim, just for fun in 2018. I think the idea of receiving free gifts really motivated me haha! I started posting makeup content without any real plans or expectations. It never felt like work because I genuinely enjoyed creating fun and lighthearted content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time, I realized this was more than just a hobby; it was something I was truly passionate about. That\u2019s when I began to take it more seriously and became more mindful with the kind of content I created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. As someone who\u2019s deeply into fashion, how would you describe the evolution of your personal style over the years?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fashion has always been a big part of my life. Even as a kid, I used to design my own outfits and even made clothes for my Barbies! Styling came naturally to me, but one thing that\u2019s remained constant is my love for comfort. I was always inclined toward baggy clothes, and a cap was a staple in my outfits (especially on bad hair days). It just made me feel cooler and more like myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I grew older, my style started to evolve. I developed a deeper love for ethnic wear and realized how comfortable and expressive it can be. I now appreciate how versatile traditional clothing is. You can dress it up or down, and it always carries a story!  My personal style today is all about versatility and relatability \u2013 pieces that feel authentic and reflect different parts of who I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. How do you make sure your content feels real and connects to the audience?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For content to truly resonate, it has to feel relatable. I believe that if I can\u2019t add value for my audience, then what\u2019s the point? Why would anyone choose to follow me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I always try to keep my styling wearable; something girls can actually take inspiration from and apply to their own lives. That relatability is what helps me stay connected to my audience. It\u2019s about being authentic and creating content that feels both fun and useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Is there anyone\u2014designer, artist, or creator\u2014you\u2019d love to collaborate with someday? What would that dream collab look like?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019d love to collaborate with the London based creator, Leonie Hanne someday. She carries such effortless elegance in everything she does. Her style, confidence, and presence are so inspiring to me. A dream collaboration with her would be where I style her in a timeless saree and she styles me in a high fashion look\u2014maybe a global fashion campaign that blends our distinct aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. What keeps fashion fun for you, even with all the pressure to follow trends or stay consistent online?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fashion stays fun for me because I don\u2019t feel the need to follow trends; I\u2019d rather set them. I enjoy showcasing my own styling  that makes me feel comfortable. Trends come and go quickly, and trying to keep up with all of them feels exhausting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus, I\u2019ll be honest! I\u2019m way too lazy to keep up with every trend! Staying true to my own style keeps things exciting and authentic for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. How do you take care of your mental health while juggling content, creativity, and everything else life throws at you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mental health is something I\u2019ve deeply struggled with especially between 2019 and 2022. But over time, I\u2019ve learned to recognize when I need to slow down and take care of myself. Sometimes that means seeking professional help, and I\u2019m grateful that I\u2019ve been able to see a counselor off and on. She has truly helped me build a stronger mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m also lucky that mental health isn\u2019t a taboo in my family. Having the support of my family and friends has been such a blessing. The Almighty has truly surrounded me with amazing people, and their presence has made all the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. When you think about where you started and where you are now, what are you most proud of\u2014not in terms of numbers, but in how you\u2019ve grown?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m most proud of how much I\u2019ve matured. I have struggled with self esteem issues for the longest time. Now I\u2019ve grown more confident; not overconfident and my understanding of myself and others has deepened over time. I don\u2019t see anyone as competition; instead, I genuinely root for others to succeed. There are bigger things to worry about in life, and I believe in lifting each other up. I just want all of us to thrive and take Bangladeshi content creation to a global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Looking ahead, how do you see your journey evolving\u2014whether creatively, personally, or even in pursuits beyond the digital space?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I do think about the future, I try to stay in the present. I don\u2019t see myself creating content forever though. I believe I\u2019ll know when it\u2019s time to step back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I already feel incredibly blessed to work with stray animals in Bangladesh, and I hope to continue making a difference in that space. I\u2019m also deeply passionate about promoting our beautiful local fabrics. Both causes are very close to my heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
